Seems like a few of those should work.

I was just setting up my dingoo for a nice easy to use system, and was thinking of some cool games that might be possible now that linux is pretty accessible and thought to myself .

OMG ALEPH ONE- Marathon!.
anyone who has played marathon will jump for joy(maybe.) its SDL, the original game ran on a FPU-less mac i think maybe something like a 68020@ around 33mhz, i ran it on a couple of macs i had(LCII,LCIII) which both had 8mb ram,

But now this is AlephOne all beefed up. and funky. so i dunno about the ram requirements. But it seems pretty plausible for a port. and an amazing one at that. id love to have a game or ten-million of it on my dingoo. anyone up for the challenge. of course. im a silly suggester who has no idea about porting. ive done very little programming(though some) and dont have a dev environment up for compiling for dingux(if someone would like to help!?)

anyway.

if the coding guys out there think it be cool idea. please oh pls attempt this.. (plus alephone plays all marathon derived games(1,2,infinity,rubicon, blah) thats like a bizilion games. and it has a big amount of fan made missions.....

joy joy jism. anyone?

EDIT: turns out is already ported to GP2X so maybe a little bit easier.

There is one on the Atari ST, didn´t test it yet though.

I might have missed it, but has anyone ported Strife? It's an RPG/FPS that uses the Doom engine, so there shouldn't be any technical difficulties running it. Here's the Wikipedia page with more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strife_%28game%29

Not sure about system requirements (says 1.02 and below can run on 400 mhz) and the kind of coding it uses, but it could be cool to see Battle for Wesnoth on dingoo. It's a neat fantasy turn-based strategy rpg.

Other ideas I'm pumped about are Descent and Wormux! Great thread

Not possible, there's no source code, perhaps because it might be lost, similar to Strife's code.

Best bet at the game would be the Blood Total Conversion for Doom, from this package.
