When I try to press SELECT while booting, I see dingux label and dingoo do nothing. MiniSD with installed Linux inside. LCD model ****25.

It works!
Thanks BooBoo!

So I can play duke or doom on bus while going to work. Im so happy!

I have to ask (sorry, I've been out of the Dingoo Linux scene for a while) but do you have to have a minisd card (or microsd with micro->minisd adapter) to install it? Can you just put it on the Dingoo main memory?

I cant get the installer to launch. I put the dingoo into usb mode then run usb_boot from a command prompt then type boot 0 then enter and it shows

USBBoot :> boot 0

Checking state of No.0 device: Unboot
Now booting No.0 device:
Download stage one program and execute at 0x80002000:

and then I cant type anything

Any suggestions?

I'm going to try on another computer hope it works.

great, the day after i send my dingoo back to get a replacement, this happens. I guess by time I get a new one there will be some decent software for it.

Primero quiero agradecer a booboo por su gran aporte a la comunidad!

I get the same error as mrdrilleraddict, i'll tell you some details to see if that way we can solve that problem.

-i'm doing it on windows but i have ubuntu also, with an microsd with a minisd convertor, when i put it into the dingoo and connect the dingoo via usb i can get data transference to the microsd so i dont think that's the problem, but... who knows?

-when i went into usb mode on the dingoo i was asking to install a driver that i had on the same directory of the actual firmware of the dingoo that i have, i install it, when i see the list of drivers installed on my pc it's appears: Chinachip usb loader. but with a yellow question mark above it like it's not working properly (i don't know if that question mark means that)

-i have the older dingoo (ILI9325)

-so i put it in usb mode anyway (but neither the dingoo drive nor the microsd drive appears) i go to run-cmd-and there i go to the directory when i've extracted the files (ex: c:\dingux\) and execute:
-USB_Boot.exe
-boot 0
and here is when i can't type anything else

into the dingux folder i have: all the files of dual_boot_installer_20090625 plus the file zImage-20090625-ILI9325

mrdrilleraddict could you solve the problem? anyone else with this error?

I'm having some real problems...

Someone could help me? how many partitions i've to create on my minisd? I have only windows and I can't install the rootfs in ext3.

It's necessary?
