A small suggestion why not change your readme.txt like this:

You can either create a new entry in dmenu like:

MenuItem MPLAYER
{
Icon = "res/media/gmu.png"
Name = " Mplayer"
Executable = "./mplayer.dge"
WorkDir = "/usr/local/mplayer"
Selector = yes
}

Add a Selector can always make our life easier :)

Questions:
1. Does anybody can watch *.rmvb files successfully?
2. *.asf and *.wmv files have no sounds?

thx!

Didn't know the selector is so easy to apply ^^

.rmvb is deactivated in the build-script, I may try to activate it next time, though it will probably be damn slow.
can't tell anything about .asf and .wmv, but I guess it depends on the codec.

I used zImage-9331 file,but I can't boot dingux.
The a320 freezed at the "dingux" splash screen.

did you rename it to zImage?
And are you sure your lcd-model is 9331?
Cause I'm using that kernel right now.

I'm also using that kernel without problems.
I now launch mplayer from the dmenu, so I can overclock before and OSD is disabled. The FLV is working as stated before, the mp4 is faster at 420MHz but still not fast enough. A standard avi xvid file of 700MB is playing almost perfectly at 420 MHz.

I changed kernel of local-0.27 from http://code.google.com/p/dingoo-linux/downloads/list
that is 'dingux-system-20090813.zip '.

It seems to me that i read on booboo's blog that it is possible with a proper tool (can't remember the name though), to switch the kernel while the system is running.

Yes, it was kexec.
I tested it and it worked.

It enables to load a second kernel INSTEAD of the running one. So this is the same thing as a reboot, then boot on another kernel.
I think it could be used to switch from a kernel without an IPU to a kernel with it.
