Hatari (Atari ST emulator) v1.0 Port for Dingux
===============================================

What's new in this version
=====================================

Better mouse control, fire button is now single click i.e. press it twice quick to get a double click.

Emulator menu now working. Press select to bring it up. This can be useful when getting certain games to work. For example to get an Atari STE game working: Press select, select system from the menu, select STE from the options. Click back to menu. Click ok and the emulator restarts in STE mode. Look at the hatari documentation online for how all the options work.

Installation
============
1. Copy the folder with all its contents to your dingux

2. Put your tos image in the top level folder with the hatari executable and call it tos.img

3. Put you disk images in the diskimages directory

4 .Create an option in dmenu like this (change as appropriate)

MenuItem ATARI

{

Icon = "res/atari.png"

Name = " "

Executable = "./gohatari"

WorkDir = "/usr/local/games/hatari"

Selector = yes

}

Playing
=======
Up/Down/Left/Right
A - Fire
X - Space
Y - 'Y'
N - 'N'
START - Enter
L - Quit
R - Toggle mouse control on/off (turn it off once a games is loaded if you are having control trouble)

SELECT - brings up emulator options menu

Configuration
=============

hatari.cfg file has all the configuration see the hatatari documentation on the net for options.
keymap.txt has various additional keys mapped.

Finally
=========
A big thank you to the Hatari team for building such a great emulator and sharing it.

Wow, thank you so much! Will check it out immediately. :D
Well, if you ask already, i´d love a C64 emulator. ^^ But you should decide yourself.

OK, checked it out, works great! The mouse movement is supersmooth if you select frameskip 1. The menu is soooo useful. :lol:
Thanks again!

PS: So far everything i tried (Prince of Persia, Damocles and the POSH demo) ran great on frameskip 1, the auto frameskip does some weird things...

Either Mednafen (mednafen-sdl-t857.html) or Aleph One (request-alephone-marathon-1-2-3-t897.html) would be most excellent.

Hi,

Please do VICE (C64).

A600 said he got it running but hasn't released it because it needs some work.
