java games for mobiles suck, but symbian games might be of interest as they are better graphically and usually the gameplay is more interesting.

java itself it's a very versatile way to create things for dingoo... maybe put/port some higher end mobile games on the device (nokia n97-like games) could be intresting.

What I have found out is that for every Java game there is a better emu-game. Most java's games are ripped from console based games.

How do I know? Because it hasn't happened on other open source handhelds in all the years they have been out..

Well as another post on these forums indicate - I was wrong, there is a java platform for psp!

OMFG crappy mobile games will be ours! Just as soon as someone does whatever needs to be done to port it, if they want to , which they probably won't, whoever they are. yay!

First man discovered fire,
Then the wheel
Then the atom bomb!
and now J A V A for DINGOO!

Human history in a nutshell...

pspkvm-j2me-virtual-machine-written-in-sdl-t1032.html

doesn't that looks a little more promissing than just say "ain't gonna happen"??

ah! there4 are some intresting simple apps in java that deserves attention (measures converter, to-do lists, calories/exercises monitoring and calculation, etc...)

Y'know I was being sarcastic (as usual).

I am literally defecating with excitement. A measures calculator!!!! wow! you mean like what's on the back of a ruler?!!

Todo List

1. Make dingoo do lots of pointless things it's not very good at.

2. Actually I can't code - so I'll just ask over and over again for pointless features!

3. Play games on my pocket emulator - rather than fiddle with apps that are on my (crap) phone already.
