The shared folders in VMWare show as network shared folders. You can check the 'Map as a network drive in Windows guests' option in Shared Folders settings to have a Z: or simillar drive in My Computer into the emulated WinXP whare all of the shared folders will be.
I've created shortcuts from there to the WinXP desktop so I can have easy access to most used folders on the host machine.

Try going to \\.host in XPs Explorer. I have Shared Folers dir there and inside it there are the ones I've shared.
Try my previous suggestion:

Doesn't work, he doesn't find that

What I've tried in WinXP IE:

\\.host
\\.host\Dingoo
\\.Dingoo
\\Dingoo

all not working, can't u just say what the link is to a shared folder named 'Dingoo'?

\\.host\Dingoo is the right one and should work if nothing forbids it somehow.. :|

You are right
Seems you've installed VMWare Tools so this is not the case. Maybe a firewall in Win7 or something additional have to be installed in the guest XP OS..
For the 'Map as network drive...' maybe your version is different than mine. Mine is 6.5.2 .
We're going into stuff that I am not very aware of because for me it just works. So if you want start from here ... and tell me when you succeed! :)
