vimrc: I looked at your (very professional) website. :) And the screenshots of your Reader look absolutely great! I hope you'll get the bugs for the Dingoo version sorted out. Could you post the "buggy" version of your Reader in the mean time? And what are the bugs exactly?

To batman52,
Here it is... It's a little buggy, so I didn't release it before. But it supports UTF-8, I just use it to see the
walkthrough for snes games... haha...

To MeneerJansen,
In fact, it's not my website... it's the gread2x author's, I just ported it into Dingux... Anyway, thank you! :)

Current bugs:
1. Internal music play can't works.
2. The brightness and cpu adjustment module disabled.
3. Seems the background image will crash the reader, but this bug should be corrected easily.

Key assignment:
You can set the hotkeys yourself. The default keys in the binary package have been set to:

select: show menu
A: Select
Y: Page up
B: Page down
start+select: Quit

Binary file:
gread2x_dingux.rar
(831.58 KiB) Downloaded 6 times

Source:
greader2x_src.rar
(561.69 KiB) Downloaded 1 time

Thanks vimrc! I'm testing it now!

PS: i think you should start a now thread about your port under dungux releases section.

EDIT: just tried it, and i'm quite enthusiastic! If music worked i would immediately switch to greared2x as my favourite reader!
comments: some key bindings look weird, but i suppose they are all reconfigurable, after all. About the music i think it would be easier and more useful, since it would support a larger number of audio formats and playlist, call mplayer in slave mode (see -slave option in mpalyer man page). You can get here ingenic-mplayer-now-considered-as-beta-t1188.html the executable. You don't need the "special" kernel for audio only operation.

I'll look at the code soon.

Thanks again!

vimrc: Wow! It looks very good! I love the ttf fonts. However, my end-of-line characters seem not to be recognized. I save all my text files in the UTF-8 format. I use Linux and Gedit. How do you save your text files? Do line breaks work for you?

To batman52:
The dingux version is too young. So I think it's better to start a new thread later. :)

To MeneerJansen:
It is recognized. You can change the default config, set the "FixGutenburg" to 1 (I think you can change "Justify text"
and "ConvertExtended" to 0 or 1 to find some interesting changes.)

You should reopen the txt file...

to codiak:

Thank you very much. Your new icon looks quite nice! :) I will try it immediately.

You're right: reopening the file solved a lot of my hard return problems. I also tried to re-save some text file in Nano as "ms-dos". Seems to help too. You did a great job (and the developer of Gread for the GPX2 too of course)! :)
