Question about battery

Postby rollo on Fri Jun 05, 2009 8:56 am

I can see battery status in hidden menu.

When dingoo is fully charged , there are numbers 26XXXX. (X: It's number)

Is this correct?

Someone tell us 270000 is status of fully chaged.

What is truth?

My battery is weird?

How is your battery status of dingoo, 270000? or 'around' 270000(it means 26XXXX)?

Thank you and sorry for my poor English.

270000 is correct. 26XXXX is not full...it is almost full. If you leave it charging longer, it will go all the way to 27000.

Try using the wall (AC) adapter instead of the USB cable to charge it. The wall charger works better.

267187 is my dingoo battery's maximum.

It never go all the way to 270000.

usb with pc or usb with wall charger, another wall chager(not dingoo bundle) give me same result, 267187.

How long did you leave it charging? Mine took 6 hours to charge fully to 270000.

I leave it charging over night, about 8 or 9.

I never touch dingoo during charging.

It's weird.

Can you tell me about your dingoo system?

firmware what you using, blight time, auto power on/off...etc.

This is my system.
old black dingoo with 9325 lcd module
firmware = 1.1
blight time = alway on (I tested this option with 5s, 10s, 20s, but there are no difference)
auto off = switch off
speaker = on
u disk...= on

Mine is the new white Dingoo with 9331 LCD controller.
Firmware = 1.1
Background light = 5 (highest)
Blight time = 30 sec
Auto off = 10 min
Speaker = On
Udisk = On

Maybe not all batteries function the same. 267187 is very close...maybe it's only a difference of a few minutes of operating time.

I got my Dingoo yesterday, played a bit and left it to charge from the wall overnight. Checked the number this morning and it was 271171.

It is my understanding that this battery will last longest if not fully charged or fully drained. High temps also decrease longevity.

Maybe I'm wrong

no, the exact opposite really - if you constantly top it up rather than letting it run out it will gradually decrease the maximum charge it will take. It's best to run it flat and fully recharge (as with most batteries)
