same, theres a thread on this. for some reason the overclocking only really works when plugged in to USB/mains. thers some extremely overly complicated way to make it work on battery power, but its not really worth it imo.

I installed the new firmware released by team Dingoo which overclocks at 400 automatically and I noticed a difference. So much so in fact that some games ran WAY too fast! I reflashed with the original firmware and installed the launchable multi-speed overclock and I can certainly tell when I clock it at different speeds. I am always playing on battery power only. I have the white Dingoo that came in the black box.

the teamdingoo firmware is not overclocked. It's built on the official firmware and the overclocking apps was included instead of overclocking the firmware by default ( as stated in the readme file ).

Same here ! What's the default cpu freq. anyway ? Is it 336 or 400 ? Can it work safely at 400 ?
Anyway, kinda stupid o/c app , no interface at all , you have to guess what's your speed . But great for it exists :D

Yes, it can work safely at 400, but you might notice a slight decrease in battery life, which is understandable. From what I heard, it was designed to run at 400, but the creators decided to underclock it so that the battery would last longer.

yeah I tried this a few different times either from loading in the root then pressing down and the firmware method; both times it bricked my Dingoo... I went back the the original HFX and flashed it and it worked again but I dunno... this didnt work for me... I really wanted to change my fonts too
