[Request]NESEMU

Postby Kronus_Arm on Sat Sep 19, 2009 1:29 am

An extremely fast and accurate Nintendo NES emulator. Easily ported to anything that can use SDL; anything else requires very little work.

http://nesemu.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/

Please someone port this!

in fact native OS kinda lost the "official" support, in the other hand, EVERYONE is the "official" support in dingux... eventually it will overtake the native OS roel... most emulators works quite well in dingux, it can be overclocked and have a good ammount of PC games ported...

why not dingux?

It will not take over native for a while...
* No TV-out
* No radio
* Still some corruption issues AFAIK
* And I'm not sure of Dingux video capabilities compared to native?

Anyway, Dingux might "take over" at some point, but we're not there yet for quite some time.

It still wouldn't hurt to have a NES emulator for Dingux. Infact, one may run games even better than the native emulator.

There is already a NES emulator for Dingux, Nofrendo, but i´m not sure how good it was. Will test it tomorrow. :)

I haven't tried it personally, but I hear it has sound issues.

I'm trying to sue sources of Nofrendo and make decent NES emulator, because I can't play Super Mario Bros. without using B and Y both ;_;
