If you dont convert the pictures to png and to size 320*240 then this also causes problems so unless you know EXACTLY what your doing i suggest anyone wanting to create their own custom theme to have the unbrick tool and all the files at the ready along with a complete backup of the device.

Hi snezzle,

sorry but the imageformat is bitmap 320x240x16bit 565-Encoding no RLE png will definitly brick your unit.

Erm no your wrong, all the wallp and usb pics inside my current firmware are png 320*240, and its currently running now, it was the ani files logon /logoff that bricked my player, they are very strange and no tool iv used can decode them and none can convert into the same format which led to my brick, but it fine because i know exactly how to unbrick.

LOL perhaps so9 you are not even looking at the right pics.

hi snezzle

if you mean the logon.ani and logoff.ani (wich are the bootscreens) i know what i'm talkin about 'cause I've coded the animaker ( http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?0emizd5twmg ) and the hxf-tool ( http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?e42mjmjzxhy ). the wallpapers etc. are pngs (the fonts not) but the anifiles are some kind of bitmaps.
