Campus Radio

Postby schanall on Fri May 01, 2009 2:00 pm

I woke up today at 5 o'clock in the morning. It was boring and I switched my Dingoo on. I saw the "Campus Radio". I switched through the frequencies. Suddenly I hear our local police radio  We still don't have an encrypted radio system...Lol the Dingoo is a really multifunctional machine.

What do you get at the "Campus Radio"? What is it for?

No. I'm really sure! We don't have a college security in germany and they talked about a girl in a park that was attacked.

But I googled around and found a news in a german paper that a few years ago a gift in the Mickey Mouse magazine was a radio made in china. You can also listen to the police radio with it! Here is the link to the article:

Edit: Here you can read about the german police radio. It seems to be a little bit "out of date"

I suppose its possible you have, last time this happened in the UK was a hell of a long time ago and back then they asked that people who found the signal to inform them of it (its ilegal to listen in btw), but all police transmissions nowa days are supposed to be encripted, i think your local police force needs to update.

In germany, the police radio is still unencrypted. They just started to try out encrypted digital radio in Berlin.
You can find the frequencies asking google. But its ilegal, like snezzle said allready.

Have you tried it?

Not with a dingoo. I have a extra radioscanner for BOS and Flightradio (living next to an airport).
Its quite interesting :)
