What type of storage in the built in 4gigs?

Postby nyder on Wed Jul 01, 2009 12:20 am

Anyone know what type of storage the internal storage in the dinggo is?

Flash? Compact Flash Drive?

Just wondering because I have an 8gig 1.2 Seagate drive that is a compact flash harddrive for embedded crap.

Just wondering if it's swappable.

thanks

There would be no way to swap it, The Dingoo is using a flash chip that is soldered directly to the board.

The only POSSIBLE way to do this would be to create a CF card reader that makes it pin compatable with Samsung K9GAG08U0M-PCB00, which would require A LOT of knowledge and skill in soldering, programming, as well as some cash to buy the necessary chips and tools. Also, you would need to modify your Dingoo to give it more room inside.

lol it really isn't possible.
