Some Console Firmware hacks for you

Postby Bingo83 on Sun Apr 26, 2009 2:28 pm

These are mainly for curiosity value only they do not offer any functionality above the current official Firmware.

They change the boot up and shut down sequence to match what was on offer on the named consoles.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Extract the contents of the archive to your local harddrive
2. Connect your Dingoo A-320 to your computer using a USB cable
3. Transfer the HXF file into the root directory
4. Disconnect the USB cable and turn off the Dingoo A-320
5. Press and hold the downwards button on the d-pad while powering on the Dingo A-320
6. The Dingoo A-320 will immediately start the upgrade process
7. Once complete it will reboot and show you the normal Dash.
8. Turn your Dingoo off and on to see the new effect.

This will reset the Language setting on your Dingoo as well so if needed remember to scroll right across to the last option on the right. Press A and select the 6th option down and then select English and press A again to reset to English Language throughout the menus.

PSOne
Xbox 360

to change the logon / logoff screen use

http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?zto2mwyo2oz

-extract your firmware using the hxfe-tool
-replace the logon / logoff ani with your own ones (located in out_hxf/user_data)
-rename the dir out_hxf to in_hxf
-pack your firmware using the hxfe-tool (use a320.hxf as filename on level above in_hxf)
-use the above upgrade-process
-have fun
