Hi,

A good indicator of what could be programmed for the Dingoo is the GP32 and GP2X. From what I am told the Dingoo is more capable than either of those.

They have the benefit of a huge Hombrew and Coding scene for them and with a bit of work the Dingoo could exceed what has been done on those.

Scumm for the GP2X works rather well, you can get info on that HERE

Hi Bingo,

In terms of putting emulators on the Dingoo, is this possible without actually converting the emulator? For example, if there is a GP2X emulator for a certain console, can you just put the files on the system or does it need to be specially coded?

Thanks for your help!

No. the A320 uses a MIPS processor, while the GP2X uses ARM. They are totally different and completely incompatible. It is possible to port games and applications from one platform to the other, provided the source code is available. However, due to the differences between the systems, software that has been heavily optimized for the GP2X (many of the emulators) will not run nearly as well on the A320 without a good deal of effort.
