The dingoo is a cheap knock off - that's what's good about it!

gemei made the a320 as well!

No. Gemei released the crappy x760+ and licensed the hardware to Dingoo who built a machine with proper pads/buttons and an SDK.

I think Gemei made the design and sold it to Dingoo Digital.

they did. dingoo are a software company - their only contribution to the device was the o/s and software. gemei designed and made the hardware. what would be brilliant is if gemei have noted the advances with linux on the dingoo, recognised that this is probably driving sales and decided to put linux on their upcoming a330. if they were to keep it completely open source then id be very interested. if they license some shitty o/s like the original dingoo did, and make it as hard as possible for developers to hack linux onto it then i'll probably give it a miss.

The bigger question you should be asking is where this is all heading. I see Dingoo and it's elk as rightfull successors to NetBook. Given enough time, they will chew away at those niche products. We simply lack docking capability. I envision a Dingoo of the future that literally slides and attaches to the side of a USB enabled LG type monitor. On the go computer Linux power on the tram/bus and then come home or to the office with a full size keyboard and monitor. That is where we are headed.

Dingoo A510 business edition? Not so crazy really. You keep all of the virtues of the low cost Dingoo in tact and place the more expensive attributes such as USB Hub, HDMI out, and Wireless B/G/N on the docking station.

You get your game machine to play Tron and Pac Man; while the others get a platform capable of running Safari and OpenOffice.

Below is obviously a mockup. Don't mistake it for anything other than illustrating a point. It is NOT A REAL image or product.

Are you wacky?

In any case, I look forward to seeing what this can do, though I will probably give it a miss if I end up getting a Pandora. It is great to see that they are following the general design of the Dingoo rather than making the somewhat arbitrary design decisions that make other cheap Chinese PMPs not as well suited to gaming.

New photos are good, but can show up new possibilities? What's New can emulate. NES 320 is also able to emulate, let us something new. Lost interest in the a330: (. Sorry for my English:).
