Dingoo A320 forum

I'm probably missing something simple here, when I connect my Dingoo to my compuer it just charges, it doesn't display as a storage device in Windows.

Do I have to press some button or change some setting so that it appears as a storage device instead of just charging?

What Windows do you use? I have no problems with XP, but i heard of some with win vista 64 and 7.

I use Windows XP.

It worked for me only two times. But have not been able to connect it anymore and have it recognized as a storage device. It always starts charging now.

Is there some setting or some button(s) I have to press when connecting?

try connecting it via USB, then hold b while pushing the reset button.

Make sure you're using USB 2.0.

boot up a livecd/distribution of linux or something related, e.g. gparted livecd. plug it in, open a terminal and type dmesg. Gives you useful debug messages =]. Thats if you can be bothered lol

actually now that i think of it, does it say on the dingoo that its chargin? if so diagnostics wont do alotta good. and i'd say try another usb port/usb cable

It seems to be working now.

I think there's something wrong with the mini plug of the USB cable, it kind of fits a bit loose in the Dingoo. The Dingoo and the USB cable have to be perfectly still, otherwise if I move them it will most likely lose the connection to the computer.

Also, the B button has to be held pressed before connecting it.
