How about installation of Dingoo Linux without a MiniSD???

Postby joey101 on Sat Jun 27, 2009 9:12 pm

Does this look as though it will be possible anytime soon? I don't have a MiniSD card but would love to install this.

ok, ok. it's very worth it anyhow.
The SD is used to store the entire linux os and all applications that run under it / roms right? Or does it just store the linux os and give the ability through its partitions to allow the user to dual boot? I'm wondering how big I should get it.

Yes the sd stores all the linux side at the moment - dingux does not currently access the built in udisk on the dingoo.

It's up to you what size - but given there isn't that much out for dingux at the moment so I would buy a 4gb for now and upgrade in a few months time...
