Extended Menu Loader for Dingux

Postby Kabelmaulwurf on Sun Sep 06, 2009 7:59 pm

Hi guys ,

i saw the menufrontend made by z_man3007

and thought it would be much nicer to do the task with dialog

It's the typical GUI in linux

Thanks to harteex for hosting!

And follow the README instructions

To navigate use the D-Pad and START to accept.

I tested it with my dingoo ,please test it with yours and have fun ;)

Also you can contribute if you want to.

Cheers ~Kabelmaulwurf

It dosen't work mate, i followed your instructions and replaced the files in the corresponding folders (sbin, dmenu and dinuxmb) overwrited them, tried to restart and then i received your new boot menu but when i clicked on dinguxmb or dmenu it would not continue on to the applications ...only the reboot option would work.

but thanks anyway, it was a nice thought :)

(LUCKILY I BACKED UP MY FILES) eck! Lol

i'm no pro on this, only ever programmed in java. but perhaps u could store a temporary lock file in /tmp which states which launcher and have your app automatically look for that for guidance on what to boot?
