Enhancing the emulator features of the Dingoo A320

Postby Kojote on Thu Mar 26, 2009 6:46 am

Hey guys,

If we consider cheating a bit, we can enhance the amount of emulated systems on the Dingoo, simply by using emulators which were writtento emulate certain hardware on the Gameboy Advance itself.

As you will be running an emulator in an emulator it will of course drain the performance and speed a lot - different programs provide different results, so it's a try and trial.

You can emulate a Coleco Vision via GBA emulation with Cologne v0.7 by FluBBa -> http://pdroms.de/files/1174/
You can emulate a ZX Spectrum via GBA emulation with FooN ( http://pdroms.de/files/1155/ ) or ZXAdvance ( http://pdroms.de/files/1211/ )
You can emulate the Arcade game "Renegade / Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun" via GBA emulation with Remudvance v0.3 -> http://pdroms.de/files/1180/
You can emulate a BBC Micro via GBA emulation using Pocket Beeb http://pdroms.de/files/1181/
etc... etc...

GBAGI v2.0 allows you even to run those old Sierra games such as Leisure Sweet Larry -> http://pdroms.de/files/1210/

As you can see... it's easy to "fake" things running an emulator in an emulator ;)

Hope this will give some inspiration to you guys out there :)
